Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 15 May 2026

1. About These Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the services provided by Cheap International Post Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (“we”, “us”, “our”). By registering for an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

2. Services

We provide international parcel forwarding and shipping services to businesses, including collection of parcels from UK addresses, customs documentation, and onward delivery to international destinations. The specific scope, pricing, and delivery timescales applicable to your account are confirmed at the point of booking.

We act as a commercial intermediary and logistics facilitator. Title to goods remains with the sender at all times; we do not take ownership of any shipment.

3. Account Eligibility

Our services are available exclusively to:

  • UK-registered businesses with a valid business address in the United Kingdom.
  • Applicants who have been accepted following our invitation or application process.

By creating an account you confirm that you are authorised to enter into a legally binding agreement on behalf of your business. We reserve the right to decline or revoke access at our discretion.

4. Prohibited Items

You must not submit the following items for shipment through our service. This list is not exhaustive and is subject to the restrictions of the destination country and carrier:

  • Lithium batteries not properly packaged or installed in equipment, in excess of regulatory thresholds
  • Liquids (unless properly sealed, declared, and permitted by the relevant carrier)
  • Dangerous goods and hazardous materials as defined under IATA, IMDG, or ADR regulations
  • Firearms, weapons, and ammunition
  • Controlled drugs and illegal substances
  • Perishables requiring temperature control, unless agreed in writing in advance
  • Cash, negotiable instruments, and precious metals exceeding permitted thresholds
  • Any items prohibited by the laws of the origin or destination country

We reserve the right to refuse, hold, or return any shipment that we reasonably believe contains prohibited items. You will be liable for any costs, fines, or penalties arising from your breach of this clause.

5. Pricing and Surcharges

Prices quoted on our website or in communications are indicative only. The final price for each shipment is confirmed at the point of booking and is based on declared weight, dimensions, destination, and chosen service level.

Final charges may include surcharges for, without limitation: remote area delivery, address corrections, failed delivery attempts, customs duties and taxes levied by the destination country, fuel adjustments, and dimensional weight uplift. All surcharges will be itemised on your invoice.

All prices are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. Where VAT applies, it will be added at the prevailing rate.

6. Payment Terms

  • Invoicing: shipment charges are invoiced monthly in arrears, consolidating all shipments dispatched during the calendar month.
  • Payment due date: invoices are due for payment within 14 days of the invoice date.
  • Late payment: where payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to charge interest at the statutory rate under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, currently 8% above the Bank of England base rate, accruing daily.
  • Suspension: we may suspend your account and withhold shipments where invoices remain unpaid beyond 30 days of the due date.

7. Liability

Our liability to you in connection with any shipment or use of our services is limited as follows:

  • Direct loss only: we are liable only for direct loss that is a reasonably foreseeable consequence of our breach of these Terms or negligence.
  • Cap: our total liability in respect of any single shipment shall not exceed the declared value of that shipment or the amount of the shipping charge paid, whichever is greater.
  • Exclusions: we are not liable for any indirect, consequential, special, or punitive loss, including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of business, or loss of data, howsoever arising.
  • Carrier liability:where loss or damage is caused by the underlying carrier, your recourse may be limited to the carrier’s own conditions of carriage. We will reasonably assist you in pursuing such claims.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate the business relationship by giving 30 days’ written notice to the other party. We may terminate immediately upon written notice if you materially breach these Terms and fail to remedy the breach within 14 days of being notified, or if you become insolvent or cease to trade.

On termination, all outstanding invoices become immediately due and payable. Clauses relating to liability, payment, and governing law survive termination.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. Each party irrevocably submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active account holders of material changes by email. Continued use of our services after the effective date of any change constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
